ROLE WITH This PROJECT:

I was tasked by PROCAR to design and project manage the development of the website from concept to completion. I designed the look and structured the UI. Working along-side a developer, sales team and technicians, we were able to come up with a clean, easily navigated website. I also worked on optimizing back-end for SEO meta-tags. I also monitored user behavior on Google analytics, giving reports to management weekly. I also compiled data from product inquiries and exported via csv file to upload and compile lists for email campaigns.

Goals for this Project:

I wanted to make this company's brand as transparent as possible. With so many other companies automating everything, I felt that if we could create a page that made information and customer service as easily accessible as possible we could be ahead of the game. I also managed the companies social media and I was able to take that insight and meet the wants and needs of the viewer as well as the companies. There was a direct chat function on the site, but that was taken down due to lack of resources.

GOALS FOR THIS PROJECT:

My primary goal for this project was to create something unique. Creating something different in print can be a challenge. I wanted to create a simple, clean look that complimented the website and maintained a consistent brand look.

The horizontal layout was not only aesthetically different from the catalogs in this industry, but it was intentionally designed this way. When the distributors of PROCAR Seats put their catalogs in their racks, the PROCAR will physically stick out. Hopefully, causing the Salesmen to reference PROCAR over competing companies, while suggesting products to customers and patrons.
Mind Games...Boom.

Form Follows Function.
